WELCOME – We are happy to welcome Dr. Luana Queiroz as the new Alfalfa Outreach Specialist with UW Extension! Luana will focus her work on advancing and updating alfalfa management recommendations. With a strong background on Animal Sciences and Forage Sciences, she will be a great asset to the world of alfalfa!

Starting in September – Corn Silage Drydown Tool and Events. Getting good quality corn silage starts with harvesting at the right moisture! To help our stakeholders time corn silage harvest, UW Extension created an online tool that shows moisture levels across the state. UW-Extension is also hosting drydown events – check the Upcoming Events calendar for more information (bottom of the page)!

7/15 – This year, we are proud to announce we will be hosting the first ever UW Forage and Cover Crop Field Day! The event will be hosted at Arlington Ag Research Station on July 15th, and include more than 20 experts discussing the latest developments in their work both in the field and in flash talks.
